Yellow brick city

April 29th, 2011 § 3 comments

The last adventure of our Easter “staycation” took us to Dragør.

Without ever leaving the island of Amager that K and I call home, we were suddenly in a small seaside town where – true story – all of the houses are painted yellow.

It was a bit like walking through a Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale, and I loved spending time somewhere with so much beauty and history all rolled into one tiny town.

I officially have a future dream house – and yes, it’s yellow!  But for now, perhaps I’ll just hang my blue teapot outside our window and play make believe…

I hope you’ve enjoyed hearing about our staycation!  (We also went to the beach up north, and took wild rides in Tivoli!)  Boy… Denmark is fun!

Happy Friday luvs, you deserve it!  xxx

PS – Have you entered my H&M Fashion Against Aids yellow bag giveaway?!  You only have until Sunday at midnight – so don’t delay! 🙂
