One thing I love about Copenhagen is how perfectly magical a normal day can become.
Saturday began with lunch, coffee and cake with K’s father Ole, then turned into a tour of the city through his teacher’s eyes and wisdom, then jazz concerts and beers in the harbor, dinner in a French bistro, and red wine and more jazz at a crowded Argentinian wine bar.
When we couldn’t take anymore, we retired back home for coffee and YouTube videos and snuggling with Ole’s pup Sofus while watching Erin Brockovich. I fell asleep on our inflatable guest mattress thinking I couldn’t possibly be luckier.
I must say, having these two men in my life (three, if you count Sofus!) has brought me so much happiness.
