The other day, I made pizza for K and I – and it was delicious, and not entirely unhealthy!


If you’re on the Dukan diet, looking for a low-fat dinner, or just love pizza – then I think you’ll love this recipe. It’s perfect for low key summer evenings when you’re feeling fancy, but also feeling like pizza.
You know those evenings?
BBQ Chicken Pizza, Dukan style
- Dukan pizza dough (recipe here)
- Low-cal BBQ sauce (I make a version similar to this recipe)
- 2 small onions
- 500 g chicken, cooked and shredded
- Virtually fat-free shredded cheese, ad libitum*
- Red pepper flakes
Slive onions thinly julienne style and place in large warm pan. Cook sliced onions until soft and light in color, and add the shredded cooked chicken meat to the pan. Cook together until warm and slightly brown.
Prepare Dukan pizza dough as directed and smooth a layer of BBQ sauce across the top (I personally like a good deal of sauce). Then top with chicken and onions, and sprinkle as much or as little shredded cheese on top. Bake in the oven on the middle rack at 400 degrees F (205 celsius) until cheese is melted and golden, and pizza is cooked through (10 – 15 min, depending on your oven).
Slice pizza and top with red pepper flakes. Serve immediately!
