Golden Lace Jar {DIY}

January 19th, 2012 § 0 comments

A simple project for a rainy {or snowy} day to keep things cozy.

I made mine gold {of course!} but you can use any spray paint you’d like for this simple, sweet DIY.

To make a lace print jar:

  1. Measure and cut lace to wrap around the jar evenly.
  2. Spray one side of the lace with spray glue, so that it adheres to the jar without moving around {don’t use very strong glue – since you’ll want to remove the lace next!}
  3. Spray the jar covered in lace with two even coats of spray paint, making sure it’s evenly covered.
  4. Carefully remove lace from the jar.
  5. Let the spray paint dry for several hours or overnight before handling.
  6. Add candles and get cozy!
