After seeing this DIY project around New Year’s Eve on Honestly WTF, I immediately decided I would add the “gold dip” look to every glass I could get my hands on. But, since all of K and my glasses are in storage, and all of my parent’s glasses are, well, not mine – that plan was pushed aside for a little while.
As I’m slightly gold obsessed however, it never left my mind. That’s why on a Goodwill excursion this week, I rushed to the glasses section where lo and behold I found 79 cent champagne flutes just begging to be jazzed up a little.
Ask and you shall receive.
What do you think of these loves? Wouldn’t this project be the perfect way to spruce up assorted, thrifted glasses for a party or wedding? Or just add some glamour to Champagne Wednesdays? {That’s a thing – right?}

I love how you jazzed up these champagne flutes. And Champagne Wednesdays SHOULD be a thing. I think you could be on to something huge.

How did you do it? is it a specific golden paint you use?
