{Homemade} Chocolate

It’s becoming clear that my way of coping with the immense amount of homework and studying I have to do is simply avoiding all of it and baking vegan desserts instead.  Hm, why didn’t I go to culinary school?!

This delicious and incredibly decadent vegan chocolate bark was a byproduct of another recent recipe adventure – Chocolate Banana Pops.  All the bananas were gone, but I still had more than 1/2 a cup of creamy, coconutty chocolate left.

So I simply poured the chocolate onto a paper-lined baking sheet and topped it with things I thought would taste best: candied ginger crumbles on one side and red pepper & sea salt on the other.

The result was beyond amazing, and we’ve been enjoying these tasty treats ever since! {Just to review, there are only three ingredients in this chocolate: cocoa powder, coconut oil, and a few drops of sweetener}.

So darlings, do as I do: skip the homework, and make chocolate instead!!*

*Don’t tell your moms I said that!
