On the last evening of my post-graduation California roadtrip {with four Danes and my brother}, we frolicked in the Pacific ocean as the sun set behind the cliffs. It was the perfect ending to a perfect week, and I just adore these photos that K captured of our magical little excursion.

Speaking of which… I officially move to Denmark in 10 short days! To say the least, I am a big ball of mixed emotions at the moment: on one hand, I’m thrilled to return ‘home’ again after being away from Copenhagen for nine long months, but on the other hand I’ll be so sad to leave my family, friends and hometown on the west coast!
Even though I started She is Red while living in Copenhagen, it has grown so much during my time here in Oregon {I suppose I’ve grown myself!}. I’m so glad to be documenting these adventures – otherwise I worry that I may have looked back someday and wondered if it was all a dream!
I feel so lucky, happy and blessed, and look forward to what lies ahead – whatever it may be!

These photos are cute! I’m sure you’ve got a lot on your plate right now getting ready to move! I can’t wait to see Copenhagen through your blog- I would love to go there one day! Moving can be such a cool experience because it allows you to grow in a way you couldn’t by staying in one place for the rest of your life!
