This outfit likely comes as no surprise coming from me. After all: I love black, I love lace, and I love a little peplum. Lately I’ve been pinning lots of style inspiration with similar textures/patterns layered on top of one another, so this lace on lace look is a nod to this trend. And it makes me think I can justify adding even more black lace to my closet, so that’s always good right?!
By the way, Stuart Weitzman just launched a gorgeous new collection of evening shoes, and their film series ‘Walking after Midnight’ is stunnnnning. I’m pretty sure this look would be perfect with the addition of a pair of their knock-out stilettos… don’t you?!

Lots has been happening in my life lately – it’s been crazy and altogether overwhelming to be honest. I only hope I come out of everything stronger and happier than ever, though of course that’s easier said than done!
